Perjanjian Pakatan Harapan terbaik

Anifah's man, lost confidence in BN, joins Keadilan

KOTA KINABALU : A community leader and a founding member of Umno in Sabah since 1994, Ibrahim @ Lajim bin Mohamad, from Kampung Laut, Pimping, Membakut has left Umno to join Parti Keadilan Rakyat (Keadilan), citing various "publicly-known" reasons for doing so.

Ibrahim, 65, who is a retired teacher as well as a former Information Chief for Umno Kimanis under Foreign Minister, Datuk Anifah Aman, quit his current post as Umno's branch secretary in his kampung, and handed over his application form to join Keadilan to the party's state chairman Datuk Lajim Ukin at the latter's office here today.

Ansari questions PKR’s choice of Ku Li’s men

Tuaran PKR chief Ansari Abdullah will lodge an official
complaint with ROS about APS’ involvement in politics.
TUARAN: Tuaran PKR division chief Ansari Abdullah has accused PKR leaders of preaching and practicing ‘fake justice’.
“How can we proclaim ourselves as a party that is fighting for the people’s justice when we can’t even ensure justice within the party?”
He was alluding to the PKR central’s contentious decision to field members of Angkatan Perubahan Sabah (APS) led by former deputy president of Upko Wilfred Bumburing.
Bumburing is contesting under the PKR ticket for the Tuaran parliamentary and Tamparuli state seats. Another APS candidate is Gulabdin B Enjih who is contesting the Sulaman state seat.

Kah Kiat now in PKR camp?

By Luke Rintod of FMT
If rumours are any indication, the end is near for
Liberal Democratic Party – Sabah BN's local
Chinese arm.
KOTA KINABALU: The Sabah political grapevine is abuzz with rumours that former Sabah chief minister and ex-Liberal Democratic Party (LDP) president Chong Kah Kiat has joined PKR.
Word is that Chong, along with two other eminent former state Barisan Nasional assemblymen, joined opposition PKR in a secret meeting with PKR supremo Anwar Ibrahim who was here last week.
Chong, who was once a federal minister, was also the former assemblyman for Tanjung Kapur.
The other two are Yapin Gimpoton who once held Kadamaian and Ahmadshah Tambakau, a former Bingkor representative. Ahmadshah, a ex-federal deputy minister, was also once Keningau MP.

Bumburing’s frontman, PKR leader in punch-up

Despite Opposition Leader Anwar Ibrahim’s assurance
that all is well in Sabah PKR, skirmishes between
original and 'new' party members indicate otherwise.
KOTA KINABALU: All is not good within Sabah PKR, if a recent punch-up in Kota Belud is any indication.
A heated argument over who is the “more rightful” PKR candidate in Sabah led to punches between two local leaders from Kota Belud.
The punch-up was between the leaders of “PKR ori (originals)” and PKR photocopy (Wilfred Bumburing’s Angkatan Perubahan sabah-APS- members)
Mail Balinu, who is with APS, was allegedly flattened with one blow by one Minsin Sompong, from the other faction.

SAPP: Tell us what’s our worth, Anwar

The capability of local Sabah party SAPP, which has
been in seat negotiations with Pakatan Rakyat Sabah
since 2009, has suddenly come under question.
KOTA KINABALU: Opposition Sabah Progressive People’s Party (SAPP) has thrown the ball back at Pakatan Rakyat over its demand for seats and wants to know what the coalition thinks the party is worth.
“If [Opposition Leader] Anwar Ibrahim said SAPP is contesting too many seats, and questions its strength, it is very simple: just tell me how many we should contest in state and or parliament?
“If they [Pakatan] think it is not agreeable to them… tell us how many they think we should contest in state and Parliament.
“I believe people expect Anwar [to give an answer],” said SAPP president Yong Teck Lee.

Star will move on, says Papar leader

By Baharudin Nayan
PAPAR
: In respond to the claim by former Star head for Papar, Datuk Patrick Sindu, that Papar Star is dissolved, i would like to stress that the majority of grassroots leaders and members in Papar are steadfast in their unity with Star state leadership in regaining our pride and empowering Sabahans.

In Pantai Manis especially, there is no big effect at all from Sindu's departure. If anything, Star strength and support from the people in Pantai Manis is increasing even more by the day as more and more see and understand the earnest strugle and clear direction of Star.

Star upset with Sapp ‘dirty tactics’ mulls options

By Joe Fernandez
It appears that ties between the Sabah chapter of the Borneo-based State Reform Party (Star) and the Sabah Progressive Party (Sapp) could be “much better” if not for the latter’s insistence on contesting in 40 state seats and almost a third, about five to seven, of the parliamentary seats in Sabah. The party reiterated this stand at its meet on Sun in Kota Kinabalu.

Before the 40/5-7 Sun announcement by Sapp, Star had been publicly toying with the “goodwill gesture” of conceding two state seats -- Likas and Luyang -- and one (Tawau) of the two parliamentary seats it (Sapp) won in 2008 as a member of the ruling BN. Star itself had announced in mid-April that it would go for all 60 state seats at stake in Sabah and 26 parliamentary seats including Labuan.
