Ansari questions PKR’s choice of Ku Li’s men

Tuaran PKR chief Ansari Abdullah will lodge an official
complaint with ROS about APS’ involvement in politics.
TUARAN: Tuaran PKR division chief Ansari Abdullah has accused PKR leaders of preaching and practicing ‘fake justice’.
“How can we proclaim ourselves as a party that is fighting for the people’s justice when we can’t even ensure justice within the party?”
He was alluding to the PKR central’s contentious decision to field members of Angkatan Perubahan Sabah (APS) led by former deputy president of Upko Wilfred Bumburing.
Bumburing is contesting under the PKR ticket for the Tuaran parliamentary and Tamparuli state seats. Another APS candidate is Gulabdin B Enjih who is contesting the Sulaman state seat.

Sabah PKR beats Anwar in naming candidates

This is a test of whether the party leadership is sincere in
its promise to give us autonomy, says Ansari Abdullah.
KOTA KINABALU: Sabah PKR, pre-empting any likely ‘hijacking’ by Kuala Lumpur, hurriedly announced its seven candidates for the state’s west coast region.
Tuaran PKR chief Ansari Abdullah said Sabah PKR had “taken the liberty” of making the announcement based on an earlier promise by Pakatan Rakyat leaders, including Anwar Ibrahim, of giving “autonomy” for the state coalition’s decisions.
He said the candidates were himself for Tuaran constituency and surgeon-activist-author Dr Chong Eng Leong for Sepanggar.

PKR "ori" wants Ansari as Tuaran candidate, not incumbent Bumburing

PENAMPANG: Parti Keadialan Rakyat (PKR) Sabah Thursday unveiled a list of seven proposed candidates for the West Coast North Zone.

They are senior lawyer Hj Ansari Abdullah (Tuaran), anti-illegal immigrant activist Dr Chong Eng Leong (Sepangar), Mazhry Nasir (Putatan), Anthony Mandiau (Kota Marudu), Mursalim Tanjul (Kudat), Saidil Semoi (Kota Belud) and Jonathan Yassin, the division chief for PKR Ranau, who is also brother-in-law to Ansari.

Unveiling this was Ansari who is also currently PKR Tuaran Chief in the presence of five of the seven proposed candidates and the various PKR divisional chiefs, in a press conference held at its Headquarters here.

Ansari's proxy, 'ustaz" Pajudin Nordin of Tuaran is Sabah PKR new head

By Ezra Haganez
KOTA KINABALU:
Little-known Pajudin Nordin, 42, of Tuaran is Sabah PKR's new chief, replacing the heavily-criticised for under-performance Ahmad Thamrin Jaini.

The Arab-speaking Pajudin, who is fondly addressed as "ustaz" among his friends here, was announced to the post by PKR President Dr Wan Azizah Wan Ismail in Kuala Lumpur Sunday.
Pajudin, a trained teacher, graduated in "tahfiz wal qiraat" at Saudi Arabia's Maahad Syubro. He has held the posts of deputy principal imam of the state mosque in Kota Kinabalu as well as a deputy registrar at the Jabatan Hal-Ehwal Agama Islam Negeri Sabah (JHEAINS).

Also announced Monday was the state PKR's new Woman Chief, Lukia Indan, the party former candidate for Kadamaian state constituency in Kota Belud in the 2008 general election. She replaced Shaukinah Yusof.

Colleagues pay tribute to Jeffrey

KOTA KINABALU: Several PKR stalwarts here have credited the party’s growth in Sabah to their former colleague Jeffrey Kitingan.
Jeffrey quit PKR on Dec 31 putting an end to months of speculation as to whether he will follow in the footsteps of Kuala Lumpur based ex-PKR supreme council member Zaid Ibrahim.
Yesterday, lawyer Ansari Abdullah, who had mostly had an uneasy political relationship with Jeffrey, surprisingly paid tribute to Jeffrey.
“Jeffrey contributed tremendously to the growth of PKR in Sabah and in the incorporation of specific agendas for Sabah and Sarawak which were sealed by Pakatan Rakyat during its first convention in December, 2010.
“These include the setting up of a Royal Commission of Inquiry on illegal immigrants, increase of royalties on gas and petroleum, Borneonisation of the civil service and the abolition of the cabotage policy,” he said when asked to comment on Jeffrey’s resignation.

Ansari on the stump minus PKR heavyweights

By Luke Rintod of FMT
SANDAKAN: Sabah PKR's “numero uno” leader Jeffrey Kittingan has just taken two months leave from the party and his deputy Christina Liew is no where to be seen!
Sources said Jeffrey has decided to stay away from the embarrassing free-for-all PKR campaign in the Batu Sapi parliamentary by-election and Liew's whereabouts "is unknown".
Meanwhile, “embarrassing” is a mild word given the recent behaviour by Batu Sapi leaders.

PKR Batu Sapi newly-elected chief, Hassnar Ebrahim, is said to have made disparaging remarks against other PKR leaders, several times, including at state liaison meetings.

And the name calling against his own comrades has come back to haunt the Ansari Ibrahim's by-election campaign.

Many confirmed that Hassnar has been telling everybody that there are three PKR leaders whom he did not want campaigning in Sandakan.

The leaders he named are Awang Tangah Awang Amin, Awang Ahmad Sah Awang Sahari, and Jalumin Bayogo.

He had also reportedly said that Jeffrey was also not welcome.
