War cry for religious freedom by indigenous Christians in Sabah

Today, we celebrate the completion of the Jubilee Year. We give thanks in our hearts to acknowledge the goodness of God for 50 years since Sabah confederated with Malaya, Sarawak and Singapore (previously) to form a new nation called Malaysia.

We rejoice by sounding the mamangkis,  the victory proclamation  by the indigenous people of Sabah in the precious name of our Lord and Saviour Christ Jesus. To Him alone we give all the glory, and honour, and worship.  Let’s ring out the mamangkis now; the way our ancestors used to do. Again we say, let the anak negeri of Sabah ring out the mamangkis now!

Sabah for Sabahans?

February 20, 2013

Before you send me to Kamunting, realise I am not advocating Sabah leaving Malaysia.

But I think it is high time Sabahans have a good, long think about the status quo.

As it is, things cannot stand.

Last I checked, Sabah is still the poorest state in Malaysia. Nabawan in Sabah is the poorest town in the country, with a 70-per-cent poverty rate.

On top of that, a small private army has landed in Lahad Datu intent on claiming Sabah as its own.

Sabahans must wake up to the reality of being disenfranchised, marginalised citizens - Datuk Dr Jeffrey G Kitingan

STAR's Sabah Chairman, Dr Jeffrey Kitingan
Sabahans must wake up from their slumber and complacency and UNITE to defend their rights and their country from being taken over by outsiders, said Datuk Dr Jeffrey G Kitingan, Chairman of STAR Sabah when launching STAR’s Roadshow entitle “POSIK with Agenda Borneo” in Kg. Purak, Papar yesterday which was attended by over one thousand supporters.

“POSIK” is the dusun word for ‘wake up’.

Yong: Why do Sabahans have to pay more?

Sabahans mourn costlier rice, heavier taxes, higher
costs and Barisan Nasional's protectionist policy.

KOTA KINABALU: Former chief minister Yong Teck Lee has questioned the economic policies imposed by the federal government which have kept the prices of goods in Sabah higher than in the peninsula.

Yong, the Sabah Progressive Party (SAPP) chief said there was no reason for this to happen  as the government could subsidise the freight charges for goods shipped to Sabah to ensure the prices of goods in the country were equal.

S’pore shuns workers from Sabah, Sarawak

Misbehaving Sabahans and Sarawakians irk strict
Singapore government.
By Luke Rintod of FMT
SINGAPORE: Employers in Singapore are shunning unskilled Sabahans and Sarawakians applying for work in the city-state mainly because they are causing problems in the republic.

Unrestrained drinking, frequent fightings in public places and other activities have been cited as the reason for the downturn in demand for workers from these two states.
