Sabah groups list 6-point action plan to tackle illegal immigrant problem

With no action forthcoming on foreigners with illegal citizenship in Sabah even after the release of an inquiry commission report, a group of political parties and non-governmental organisations in the state have put up a list of demands for the authorities to fulfil next year.

Among the demands is for a thorough clean up by the Election Commission of the state's electoral roll to weed out unqualified "voters", the group, made up of 21 non-governmental organisations and three political parties, said.

The parties are the Sabah State Reform Party (STAR), Sabah Progressive Party (SAPP) and Parti Cinta Sabah (PCS).

Non-Departing Foreigners Given ICs

Kota Kinabalu:    “Reading between the lines, the RCI Report infers that the 229,484 non-departing Indonesians between 1996 and 2000 were given ICs dubiously along with 11,741 Filipinos.   Although there were no figures given for Pakistanis, Indians and other nationalities, it would not be surprising if these non-departing foreigners were also issued ICs dubiously” said Datuk Dr. Jeffrey Kitingan, STAR Sabah Chief, commenting on the missing Indonesians and Filipinos that came into Sabah officially but with no records of their departure.

PBS Actions Should Be Respected and Supported But ….

Kota Kinabalu: “The actions of PBS including the lodging of police reports in prodding the federal authorities to pursue further actions on the wrong-doing as highlighted in the RCI Report ought to be respected and supported by all Malaysians, more so by right thinking Sabahans” said Datuk Dr. Jeffrey Kitingan, STAR Sabah Chief, in response to news of police reports being lodged by PBS representatives on the RCI Report.

This is totally contrary to the other Umno leaders from Sabah who are aiding and abetting the Malayan leaders to continue to strangle and control Sabah as an internal colony.   They even

Corrupt officials, syndicates blamed for alleged 'Project IC'

KOTA KINABALU - Syndicates and individuals aided by corrupt officials spun a web to create a so-called "Project IC" in Sabah with a purported corrosive political agenda for monetary gains.

This was among various issues highlighted in a 368-page report by the Royal Commission of Inquiry (RCI) on immigrants in Sabah made public Wednesday.

The report, however, did not name any perpetrators or guilty parties as this was not within the commission's scope of duties, as stated in the terms of reference (TOR).

The Mindanao unrest and Sabah illegals

Analysts say with fresh armed clashes in Mindanao,
it is unlikely Malaysia would deport Filipinos
illegal immigrants back to the areas.
By Luke Rintod of FMT
One of the repercussions of the fresh unrest in the southern Philippines would be the derailing of Malaysia’s effort to mount a sweeping operation to nab illegal immigrants in Sabah as part of its nationwide exercise.

The operation in Sabah will not be easy. Sabah has a huge population of Filipino and Indonesian immigrants hiding under various clever masquerades.

The locals in Sabah, especially the Kadazandusun and Chinese, who have been enraged for too long over this perennial issue, handed Barisan Nasional half a dozen defeats in the two communities’ areas in the recent general election.

HOW THE NATION IS SOLD BY MAHATHIR !

By: Nash Ar-Rawy
Citizenship is not a game  to be played with as a mockery by the politicians , National Leadership and government servants such the Immigration Department, NRD  “ PDRM “ , “ SPRM” and EC.

Because it involves the future of the country and national security. But Mahathir had sold out Malaysia just to win theGeneral Election in Sabah . He had also humiliated the Chinese and Indians in this country when he argued about the citizenship given by Tunku to the British Subjects in Malaysia.

Welcome to the Philippines 81st province

People should be able to place their trust in the prime minister to head the elected government; some prime ministers achieve greatness, others are best forgotten. Many are mediocre, others gain international acclaim.
The future of one Malaysian prime minister might well lie in a cell. His crime? When he was in power, he did not act in the interests of the country, but was consumed by a passion to further his own political interests. He was prepared to sell his country to foreign nationals.
Last week, former prime minister Dr Mahathir Mohamad admitted in a press conference that he had authorised the provision of ICs to Filipinos. The Royal Commission of Inquiry (RCI) on Sabah revealed that between 1970 and 1984, around 73,000 Filipino refugees had been allowed to settle permanently in Sabah. Pundits claim that today, there may be around 1.75 million Filipinos.

A case of scratching each other’s back?

In 1985, Tun Mustapha said perhaps the federal government
wanted to use Manila's claim on Sabah against its people as
a bargaining chip to make them behave.
KOTA KINABALU: With the 13th General Election drawing near, it seems to be a fishy coincidence that the Sultan of Sulu and his family have suddenly decided to revive their claim to Sabah as part of their ancestral right.
In an interview with the Philippines’ Daily Inquirer, Crown Prince Rajah Mudah Agbimuddin Kiram, reportedly said that they will have to pursue the Sabah claim on their own since the Philippines government appeared to have ignored their demand to include their claim to Sabah as an “integral and essential” aspect of the peace agreement involving “any armed group in Mindanao”.

Jeffrey Asks if Lahad Datu Standoff a Charade to Scare Voters

Does the government led by BN trying to divert voters attention?
By Junior Fendi
KOTA KINABALU: The State Reform Party suspects that the Barisan Nasional government is trying to gain political mileage from the Lahad Datu standoff, using it to scare the people into voting for the BN in the coming general elections.

“It is even possible that this is an elaborate BN military strategy choreographed to achieve that purpose,” its state chairman, Datuk Dr. Jeffrey Kitingan said in a statement. “This new form of fear mongering makes sense knowing BN’s desperation in wanting to hold on to power in the light of the ruling coalition’s lowest level of popularity and support at the moment.”

Is Lahad Datu siege a Umno-BN plan?

The government's 'unconvincing actions' via negotiations
had 'legitimised' the Sulu army's demands and made us
a laughing stock, said STAR chief Jeffrey Kitingan.

KOTA KINABALU: Is the incursion of more than 100 armed Filipino men from the alleged royal Sulu army an elaborate federal level Umno strategy to scare Sabahans into voting back the Barisan Nasional in the 13th general election?
Is that why the federal government and its top leaders – Prime Minister Najib Tun Razak included – seem unperturbed by the threats and demands of the Manila-acknowledged Sultan of Sulu Jamalul Kiram III and his men led by brother Raja Muda Abimuddin who are holed up in Lahad Datu since Feb 9?
Isn’t it possible that Putrajaya and Manila are in cahoots? After all, it has been reported in the Philippine media that President Benigno Aquino was “informed of the incursions from Day One”. Also noteworthy is that Malaysia took credit as peacemaker in the long-drawn insurgency in the southern Philippines.

In whose hands lies Sabah’s destiny?

It is time to end decades of grinding uncertainty
which has harmed the economic growth of Sabah.
For more than three and a half decades, the people of Sabah have always been aware of the huge number of foreigners arriving here and given fast-track citizenships to become voters.
We now hear directly from the horses’ mouth in the Royal Commission of Inquiry, confirming the clandestine modus operandi employed by Umno and carried out by the Election Commission and National Registration Department in rigging every Sabah election to sabotage the Sabahans’ choice of governments.
Unless the Barisan Nasional federal government now swiftly abolish the death penalty like it did the Internal Security Act, all the conspirators from both sides of the political divide might be sent to the gallows for high treason when their immunity from prosecution is revoked and removed once a change of government takes place.
