Salleh semakin lantang

Sebelum ini Salleh 'menembak' sekurang-kurangnya dua
kementerian persekutuan yang kebetulan diterajui
dua pemimpin Umno Sabah sendiri.

Musa ‘lacks Malay-ness’ for Umno

By Luke Rintod of FMT
KOTA KINABALU: A political scientist in Sabah believes it would be better for the two Sabah Umno leaders, currently being propped to vie for Umno’s vice presidency, to work together.

In contention for one of the three coveted Umno vice-president posts are Sabah Chief Minister Musa Aman and federal Minister of Rural Development, Shafie Apdal.

Shafie is an incumbent to this seat. The other two incumbent vice presidents are federal ministers Hishamuddin Hussein and Ahmad Zahid Hamidi.

Shafie’s wooing Yong back into BN

In a bid to unseat Musa Aman, Umno vice-president Shafie Apdal
is allegedly brokering deals with SAPP's Yong Teck Lee.
Umno vice-president Shafie Apdal is allegedly masterminding the return of former Sabah chief minister Yong Teck Lee into the Barisan Nasional and claiming he has the tacit approval of party president Najib Tun Razak to negotiate the return.
This is despite the fact that Sabah BN components distrust Yong, who is Sabah Progressive Party (SAPP) president.
Yong, Shafie and Joseph Ambrose Lee were partners in crime at one time. They allegedly took over the RM30-billion timber wealth of Yayasan Sabah through a share-swap. The “swap” had allegedly taken place when Yong was chief minister and Shafie a directer in Yayasan Sabah.

Shafie puts foot in mouth about Sabah oil and basic politics

By Daniel John Jambun
KOTA KINABALU: In Datuk Shafie Apdal’s comment about the opposition’s promise to give 20% royalty for its oil if it was voted to power, he stressed only two important points, that is, Sabah shouldn’t take 20%“because it needs to share its wealth” and “the opposition should not makes promises that causes rift among the people.”

I have one thing to say about what he said: these are some of the dumbest and most idiotic statements we have heard in the political history of Sabah. It is no better than when Datuk Salleh Said Keruak said the people should blame themselves for the increase in illegal immigrants in Sabah, or when Tun Mahathir said the illegals in Sabah should be given citizenships because they can speak Bahasa Malaysia!

West Malaysian politics toying with Sabah

It’s common knowledge that Shafie dreams of becoming Sabah’s next chief minister and that Lajim who holds sway over westcoast Muslim in Sabah is an important ally for him. Rumours of Lajim quitting Umno began last year and was as quickly “settled” when another speculation broke that Shafie, who is Rural Development Minister, had appeased Lajim with a RM150 million road project.

WIKISABAH
It’s finally arrived, the official announcement that Sabah Barisan Nasional MPs Lajim Ukin and Wilfred Bumburing have quit the coalition.

Lajim, who announced his withdrawal in front of 500 people at Kampung Bukit Kallam on July 18, said: “I will sacrifice my RM20,000 monthly pay and perks as a minister for my struggle to uphold Sabah’s rights and fight corruption and cronyism.”

Zahida Tolak Semua Dakwaan Noorazman

Oleh : REGINA LEE

PETALING JAYA: Pelakon yang dikaitkan mempunyai hubungan dengan seorang menteri kabinet, Zahida Rafik sekali lagi menafikan mempunyai hubungan dengan VIP tersebut seperti mana dakwaan pemandunya, Noor Azman Azemi (tonton VIDEOKLIP).

Zahida turut menegaskan bahawa dia tidak pernah mengenali Menteri Kemajuan Luar Bandar dan Wilayah, Datuk Seri Shafie Apdal selain menganggap Noor Azman sebagai seorang pembohong.
“Jadi dia (Noor Azman) menganggap saya sangat kaya? Saya tak kenal Datuk Seri (Shafie). Adakah dia (Noor Azman) menyebut saya mempunyai hubungan dengan Datuk Seri?

Menteri deposit RM1 juta ke akaun Zahida

Sidang akhbar Noor Azman

Shafie: RM1.5m payout to Zahida ‘completely untrue’

KUALA LUMPUR: A week after he was openly linked with a popular local artiste Zahida Mohamed Rafik, Rural and Regional Development Minister Mohd Shafie Apdal today denied making any hefty payments to her.

He warned that he would be taking legal action against anyone “who continues to defame me and link me with this issue”.

Was Salleh voicing Musa’s concern?

By Luke Rintod of FMT
Umno Sabah chief Musa Aman is relying on his deputy
Salleh Keruak's strategy to contain rival Shafie Apdal.
Last weekend in Kota Belud, the so-called birth-place of Umno in Sabah, the party’s state deputy president Salleh Said Keruak gave a stinging reminder to possible party-detractors.

He said those who were contemplating ditching Umno if they are not re-nominated in the coming general election, would be ‘ignored’.

Salleh, who is a local boy, issued this warning during a special meeting with a group of Umno’s Kadazandusun leaders from Kadamaian.

Is Shafie Apdal The Hidden Hand Behind KDM Malaysia?

By : SELVARAJA SOMIAH

THE SHADOW boxing by certain UMNO politicians using Liberal Democratic Party (LDP) a Barisan National component in Sabah and the Kadazandusun Murut Association Malaysia (KDM Malaysia) may be a precursor to a battle for the gaddi in Kuala Lumpur.

Sabahans often accuse their politicians of being short-sighted. Judging by the rhetoric’s, lobbying, mudslinging, conniving and scheming by the principal parties, we are actually looking at least as far into the future as the 13th General Elections, parliamentary and state polls, which must be held before 2013.

Shafie, Dari Putrajaya Ke Isa?
