‘Syabu killed my only son’

By Thomas Pi
LAHAD DATU: Salomah Hamad, 30, is the heartbroken mother of  7-year-old Haikal who was slain by his father last week inside the living room of an unnumbered wooden house belonging to her adopted parents in Kampong Ipil.

During an interview, Salomah, holding a small photo of her son taken when he was aged two, said her 35-year-old husband was a drug addict. She believes that syabu caused him to lose his mind to the extent of slitting the throat of their only son and then allegedly drinking his blood.

“Syabu killed my son … my only son!” she cried.

They’re terrorists, not intruders, says Musa

Sabah’s Musa Aman upped the ante when he
barred the use of the term 'Sulu Sultan' in all
media and securities forces references.
KOTA KINABALU: The brief notice to all parties concerned read: “Use the term ‘terrorist’ instead of ‘intruder’; Don’t use the term ‘sultan’ as if we recognise the fact.”

The notice from Sabah Chief Minister Musa Aman’s office clearly announced that terrorism had reared its ugly head in Sabah.

In a bid to thoroughly discredit the armed group of Filipinos who daringly took over a small, remote village in Lahad Datu on the east coast of the state and are still fighting Malaysian security forces, Sabah Barisan Nasional government yesterday formally declared the attack as an act of terrorism.

Pakatan mahu Parlimen bincang isu keselamatan Sabah

Where’s the logic, Hisham?

If the current soft 'handling' of the incursions by armed Filipinos
into Lahad Datu is any measure, then it is clear that Sabahans'
safety is inconsequential to the federal government.
It is an irony how promptly Home Minister Hishammuddin Hussein ordered the arrest and deportation of Australian Senator Nick Xenophon while 100 armed Filipinos in military fatigue were being handled with kid gloves by the police and Special Branch officers because they had “links” in Sabah.
Xenophon arrived solo and unarmed but was considered a security threat. But in Lahad Datu, some 100 “soldiers” from the alleged Royal Sultanate of Sulu Army who were armed with “M-14, M-16, M203 and Armalite assault rifles” were considered friendly, “not militants” and “not a threat”.

‘Tentera Diraja Kesultanan Sulu’ Sebalik Pencerobohan Bersenjata Di Sabah
