Rahman Should Help Solve Problems Not Blame Sabahans

Kota Kinabalu: “The federal Minister Datuk Rahman Dahlan should help find solutions and openly declare his intention instead of making insinuating statements defending the federal government and blaming everything on Sabahans to deflect blame from the government” said Datuk Dr. Jeffrey Kitingan, STAR Sabah Chief, in response to the Minister’s various press statements on the RCI Report.

If Rahman is defending his federal bosses and the federal government in Putrajaya, he should provide concrete proof and not make wild accusations and sweeping statements.

Komen-Mengomen Bersama Fredolin E. Lojingki

Rahman launches broadside against DAP MP

PETALING JAYA: Housing and Local Government Minister Abdul Rahman Dahlan went on Twitter tirade against DAP MP Tony Pua today over reports that the former had defended Perkasa president Ibrahim Ali on the Malay bible-burning remark.

“YB ( Pua) , your ignorance of the issue is understandable but I must say your daily ritual to please your boss Lim Guan Eng is legendary,” said Rahman in his tweet.

Recently, Rahman had defended Ibrahim’s calls last year to burn Malay-language Bibles that contained the word “Allah’ in it.

‘It’s too late for Sabah Umno, BN’

BN leaders in Sabah can chastise the opposition
as much as they want in order to serve their
peninsular master, but their end is nearing,
says opposition STAR.
KOTA KINABALU: Sabah Barisan Nasional’s ‘incessant holler’ and attacks on opposition parties especially the State Reform Party (STAR) has not deflected grassroots perceptions of the BN’s unworthiness.

In fact the more BN leaders defend the alleged wrongdoings of their Umno-BN bosses and justify the coalition’s continued presence in Sabah, the more compelling the need to boot them out, claims STAR chief Jeffrey Kitingan.

In a statement lambasting state BN secretary Abdul Rahman Dahlan for hitting at the opposition’s insistence on the Borneo Agenda which includes Sabah becoming a nation ‘within’ Malaysia, Jeffrey said the current ‘domination’ by the peninsular was “morally wrong’

Cholera outbreak in Kota Belud kampung

The cases of cholera has
been linked to villagers
using untreated water.
By Luke Rintod of FMT
KOTA BELUD: A t least 3 cases of cholera have been confirmed in  Kg Pantai Mas in Tempasuk near here.
Suspicion of cases of cholera at the seaside kampung started a week ago when signs of it were detected by the district hospital.
FMT learned that the  villagers in Pantai Mas were furious because the outbreak partly stemmed from lack of supply of treated water. Most of them still used untreated water from traditional wells as well as deep-bored holes .
A man who only wanted to be known as Sabli told FMT that the kampung has been waiting for water supply for ages and that pipes actually had already been laid in the kampung areas for quite some time but that there is no water until now.

Tunggu enam bulan lagi selesai masalah air

Datuk Abdul Rahman Dahlan

Sabah Umno could lose ‘birthplace’

Iranun, which is considered as Umno’s first ‘child’
in Sabah, may see a tough fight from opposition STAR.
KOTA BELUD: Opposition State Reform Party (STAR) has penetrated Umno’s bastion in the state – the Iranun and Bajau kampungs – which incidentally is the birthplace of Sabah Umno.

STAR’s Sabah chairman, Jeffrey Kitingan, was elated to see about 150 senior citizens and the young who thronged to his ice-breaking “ceramah” at two kampungs here recently.

One session was held in Tempasuk Tamau, an Iranun kampung, not very far from Umno’s Pandikar Amin Mulia’s home. The ceramah was hosted by a local ustaz who recently joined STAR.
Discrimination against Sabah by the federal government
in order to develop Malaya is a tragedy and worthy of
national attention, says a lawyer.
KOTA BELUD: Peter Marajin, the man under fire from irate Kota Belud MP Abdul Rahman Dahlan for criticising him, stands by his claim that the MP is all talk and no action.
Speaking a day after Rahman hit out at him for negatively assessing his performance, Marajin reiterated that the MP had not done much in his constituency.
“He does not care about the padi fields in Mukim Kelawat but he keeps on telling people the district is Sabah’s “rice bowl” or “jelapang padi”.
“He didn’t even answer my contention that there are hundreds of acres of padi fields in Kelawat which are neglected as they are dependent on rain. His Umno-led Barisan Nasional has not provided proper irrigation for the area.

MP Kota Belud diminta lawat kawasan

Sejak kebelakangan ini Rahman Dahlan
lebih gemar bercakap isu ekonomi
negara, pentadbiran persekutuan dan
kedaulatan bangsa lain sedangkan
kawasannya terbiar.

MACC panelist under fire for defending Musa

MACC panelist Abdul Rahman Dahlan's credibility is now
under question after he openly defended Musa Aman over
the RM40 million political donation.
KOTA BELUD: Kota Belud MP Abdul Rahman Dahlan has been reminded that he sits on a Malaysian Anti Corruption Commission (MACC) panel and should not be too quick to jump and openly defend his Umno colleagues who are subject to corruption investigations.
Abdul Rahman sits on a MACC’s Special Committee on Anti-Corruption.
Last week he jumped to Sabah Chief Minister Musa Aman’s defence over the RM40 million issue.
Commenting on this, Kota Belud State Reform Party (STAR) head Jalumin Bayogoh said Abdul Rahman’s defence of his party colleagues was an indication of a conflict of interest as he is supposed to help expose corruption and propose ways to strengthen approaches to stamp out graft and power abuses in the country.

Rahman better expose grafts than defends colleagues, says Star

Datuk Abdul Rahman Dahlan
KOTA BELUD : The MP for Kota Belud, Abdul Rahman Dahlan, has been reminded that he sits in the MACC Special Committee on Anti-Corruption, and not to be too quick to jump on his feet openly defending his Umno colleagues who are subject of investigations on corrupt acts charge.

State Reform Party (Star) head for Kota Belud, Jalumin Bayogoh, said Abdul Rahman may have conflict of interest when he openly defends his colleagues as he was supposed to help expose corrupt acts and propose to strengthen approaches to stamp out graft and power abuses in the country.

Rahman let us have debate on the issue, dare Star leaders

Datuk Abdul Rahman Dahlan
Daniel John Jambun
KOTA KINABALU :  In addition to our chairman Dr Jeffrey Kitingan's response on the issue Rahman Dahlan brought up yesterday, we in Star Sabah dare the Kota Belud MP who is also Sabah BN secretary to a public debate with him anywhere in the state capital or in Kota Belud.

If he is so confident on his newly-found strength 'archives' on the formation of Malaysia in 1963 then he should take up my challenge before it is too late for him to salvage his dignity and that of Umno and Sabah BN altogether.

MP Rahman Dahlan, a Typical Umno Stooge - Dr. Jeffrey

“Rahman Dahlan’s remarks that Sabah and Sarawak joined the Federation as the 12th and 13th States of Malaysia is a typical UMNO stand that not only reflect his lack of understanding of history on the formation of Malaysia but confirms my opinion that many of our Sabah leaders are mere stooges and proxies of Kuala Lumpur leaders.  These Sabah leaders, no longer have the heart and desires to fight for the special rights and position of Sabah and Sarawak in Malaysia.” said Datuk Dr. Jeffrey Kitingan, STAR Sabah Chief, in response to Dahlan’s statement published in the Daily Express and Borneo Post yesterday.

One cannot simply pick up a paragraph in the proclamation which mention Sabah and Sarawak along with the States in Malaya that this makes the two independent States as simply additions to the existing States of Malaya.

‘BN and Umno leaders pawning Sabah’

By  Queville To of FMT
KOTA KINABALU: Sabah Progressive Party (SAPP) has denounced Kota Belud MP Abdul Rahaman Dahlan’s view that Sabah is just one of the 13 states in Malaysia.
SAPP supreme council member Peter Marajin accused Abdul Rahman of denying Sabah’s autonomy by twisting the history of the proclamation of Malaysia in Sept 16, 1963.
“The proclamation of Malaysia read by Donald Stephens at Padang Bandaran on that particular day that Sabah is one of the 13 states in Malaysia does not mean Sabah’s status is the same as Perlis or Kedah in Malaya at that time. It is only a question of convenience that such proclamation was pronounced.

Political frogs: Jeffrey under attack

By Luke Rintod of FMT
KOTA KINABALU : State Reform Party (STAR) Sabah chairman Jeffrey Kitingan’s statement that “all Sabah politicians are frogs” in Bingkor last Sunday seems to have poked right into the hornet’s nest.

Politicians across the divide and coffeeshops are abuzz with arguments over who is or is not a “frog” in Sabah.

A barrage of defensive attacks against Kitingan by Sabah Barisan Nasional leaders made the local newspapers today, with vehement denials that Chief Minister Musa Aman and his deputy Joseph Pairin Kitingan ever were “frogs”, a term often used to demean politicians who ‘hopped’ from party to party.
